Types of collected information
Job.ro collects information from its users in the following ways: directly from the user, reports of traffic recorded by servers which hosts job.ro and through cookies.
The information provided directly by the user: When you register on job.ro, we ask your name, your e-mail and other personal information. As you provide more information on a voluntary basis, the better we can customize the information provided in your future visit.
Information from the traffic of the server: When you visit a website you reveal certain information about yourself as your IP address, time of your visit, the place where you entered the site. Job.ro, like other operators, records such information.
Cookies: In an effort to provide a personalized service to our users, job.ro may use cookies to facilitate storage and tracking your preferences. For example, we may use cookies to be able to identify in your previous visits so that you do not need to sign in on each visit. Also, online advertising networks may use cookies in order to adjust advertising messages depending on your preferences. The usage of cookies is a common practice for many of important websites that you visit. Most browsers are configured by default to accept cookies. While trying to do everything possible to protect personal information, job.ro can not ensure security or guarantee any type of information you send it to us, so that the transmission of information in an inappropriate environment is at your own risk. We must also understand that you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of data (passwords, user name, etc.), linked to your account.
Types of information usage
Job.ro uses information collected from you in several ways, depending on the type of information collected:
The information provided directly by the user:
This information is used solely for the purpose customizing services offered to you and to check your identity regarding the execution of any contract between you and our society as a result of your use of online services that we provide. In this category, is included data submitted by candidates in the resume fields. Also in this category of information, is included data on: "Industry" and "Description" of the employer.Regarding the information provided by applicants, they may opt for the status of personal resumes to be one of the following:
- Public: CV can be viewed in full less the following data: Telephone, E-mail in the results of resume search made by any person, a visitor of the site and any search initiated by a user registered as a member as employer.
- Strictly Confidential: CV can be viewed in full only by employers that the user applied for a job. CV will not appear in part or in full or in a search initiated by users.
Regarding the information provided by employers, the data provided in the "company details" will be used exclusively for communication and transactions between the company and Job.ro. These data will not be disclosed under any form of a third party, except authorities in situations provided by law. Ads published by the company will be consulted by any visitor of the site.
Information collected from the traffic Job.ro server: This type of information helps us identify which sections of our sites are sections of interest to users. Job.ro also collect IP addresses of its users in order to secure our computer system, in order to prevent illegal activities and, last but not least, the purpose of communicating the anonymous users profiles to advertising clients.
The information collected through cookies: Job.ro uses cookies allow even more usefulness to our services and in order to obtain statistical information that will allow us to improve our services. Cookies (as they were defined above) allow us to save your access passwords and preferences so that you will not be prompted to enter each time you visit us.
The email addresses collected from users, be they candidates or employers, may be used by Job.ro to send several announcements regarding its services or its partners. These email addresses will not be disclosed to any but a third party without your express consent.
Information security
Protection of information collected from you is very important for us. Job.ro does not provide the information collected to third parties without your express consent in advance. Any statistics on user trafic, which will be provided to a third party advertising network or to partner sites, is provided only as a set of data and does not include any personal information about any user identified an individual user.
Access to certain services of our site is protected by a password. We recommend to not reveal the password to anybody. Job.ro will never ask your password accounts in unsolicited messages or calls. We advise therefore not reveal the password to persons who will require this. If your computer is accessed by other people we recommend you to log off of your account before the end of each session.
Unfortunately, no data transmission via the Internet can not be guaranteed to be 100% sure. Consequently, despite our efforts to protect personal information, Job.ro can not ensure or guarantee the security of information transmitted by you to us, to and from online services or products. We will tell you so that the information sent to us will be on your own risk.
When we receive the information transmitted by you, will guarantee that we will make every effort to ensure safety in our systems, according to security standards imposed by Romanian legislation in force.
According to the requirements of the Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of persons regarding the processing of personal data and free movement of such data, amended and supplemented and the Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and protection of private life in the electronic communications sector, Job.ro will manage safely and only for specified purposes, personal data you provide about yourself. We inform you that the personal data you provide are processed in order to offer in optimal conditions for Job.ro services.
At your desire you give us some of your personal data to create a valid account and to benefit from the Job.ro services.
According to Law no. 677/2001, you have a right to access data, the right of intervention, the right not to be subjected to an individual decision and the right to address justice. Also, you have the right to opose the processing of personal data that concern you.

Access to your data
The exception to the above cases, Job.ro will not disclose any personal information about its identified users to third parties without first receiving express consent of users in this regard.
At the same time, however, Job may disclose personally identifiable information when the law expressly provides for this or when this is necessary to protect the rights and interests of Job.ro.
